yesterday, we had our monthly big d city stitchers ASG meeting (american sewing guild). we meet at the lakewood library every 3rd saturday of the month. it's my favorite day of the month! we made these cute "market bags". i think they turned out REALLY cute and they did not take long to make at all.



i asked a random person to snap a picture of us and this is the best i got. i'm thankful to get a picture though...

i stayed up very, very late making these adorable (if i do say so myself) wall hangings for some special friends of my nieces, lexi and demi.

this is my 100th post. it's incredible that i've not only stuck with something this long but that i've had that many crafty things to show. love that!

my daughter has weird ideas about posing.




i do still do other things besides make bows. for instance, right now i am working on a skirt for indyanna. i should be finished with it tomorrow. i, also, have another project ready to post but i can't until the recipient receives it. don't want to spoil the surprise! i promise the next post will be sewing related!

my sweet little niece, lexi, had her bday party yesterday! we had a blast!!!

indyanna made her the bow she's wearing and i made her the pillow.

sew, indyanna and i have discovered the greatness that is the BOWDABRA! seriously, if you have a girl, don't walk, RUN to your nearest walmart and buy one. we made bow after bow after bow tonight. i've discovered that my daughter likes BIG bows.

this past forth of july weekend was a awesome! we saw several fireworks shows. took the kids to the hannah montanna movie and for bike rides and playtime at the park. spent time at a christian concert with mom and dad and kaylee. then the next day spent time with ryan's family. and i got to spend alot of time sewing! talk about a great weekend!

and i made boston this shirt from simplicity 2627



now if you know boston, you should be laughing very hard at the picture above! every time i look at it i just laugh and laugh. check out those furrowing eyebrows!
